New Passport Requirements as of January 2007

New passport restrictions for air travel to and from the United States and Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, and the Caribbean will take effect in the new year. Travelers will be required to have a passport or other secure, accepted document to enter or re-enter the United States with all air travel. Most travelers can find information here. Updated passport information for our American Guests

American guests who are entering Canada by land, DO NOT require passports to enter Canada until 2009. Birth certificates or photo ID is all that is required at this time. (July 2007)

Smoke-Free as of January 1, 2007

The Niagara Region has a strict Smoking Bylaw - fines of up to $5000 can be charged to guests and the hotel by the Region for smoking in Non-Smoking Public Areas.
Due to Regional Bylaws, charges will apply to any guest in which smoking is evident in a non-smoking suite. Please be aware that a Smoking Clean Up Charge of at least $200 will be charged to the guests' account if any evidence of smoking is found in a Non-Smoking guestroom. This charge is used to help cover the cost of returning the guestroom to its original air quality. Second hand smoke can be a serious health hazard for non-smokers and smokers, so this policy is taken very seriously by the hotel and enforced by all staff members.

Pet Policy

Pets are allowed. A daily fee will be added to the rate. Pets must be caged when left alone in the room. Pets are only allowed in a standard double bed suite on a lower floor.

General Directions to the Hotel

• From Detroit/Windsor
  Take Highway 401 East to Highway 403 South and follow Highway 403 South to QEW/Niagara. Then take Highway 406 to St. David's Road West and at the second light make a left onto Schmon Parkway.

• From Buffalo Niagara International Airport/Peace Bridge/Ft. Erie
  Take QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way)towards Toronto. Exit and turn left onto Thorold Stone Road. Follow the street to St. David's Road West Exit. Turn left at the light and another left onto Schmon Parkway.

• From Rainbow Bridge/Niagara Falls
  Take Highway 420 to QEW (Queen Elizabeth Way) towards Toronto. Exit and turn left onto Thorold Stone Road. Follow the street to St. David's Road West Exit. Turn left at the light and left onto Schmon Parkway.

• From Toronto Lester B. Pearson International Airport
  Take Highway 401 West to Highway 403 South and follow Highway 403 South to QEW/Niagara. Then take Highway 406 to St. David's Road West. At the second light turn left onto Schmon Parkway.
